SHINE

"Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."                Matthew 5:16

E.C. (Ed) Donnally has lived a most amazing life. He is the only person to have been a professional horse jockey, newspaper and magazine writer, television producer, certified fund raiser, licensed minister, successful evangelist, and now hospice chaplain.

He was once indicted for sports bribery and was a Los Angeles County Jail inmate who started his ministry career at the Los Angeles Dream Center nerly 15 years ago. Less than five years after ending his 16-day stay in jail, he became a licensed Foursquare Minister and has never looked back.

A former Eclipse Award winning journalist for the Dallas Morning News, he has published over 30 articles in Christian magazines, including Charisma Magazine, is an Associate Pastor at Venice Beach Foursquare Church in Venice Beach, California, an endorsed Foursquare Chaplain and holds a Certificate in Fund Raising from UCLA. For seven years he was the Development Director for Race Track Chaplaincy of America, which sanctions and oversees 80 chaplains who serve at 120 horse tracks and training/breeding centers throughout North and South America.

He is a frequent speaker in churches, recovery conferences, rehab centers and halfway houses and crusades. He and his wife Sandi can often be found on Venice Beach with his church band, playing music, giving written information and praying with many of the thousands who walk past each day.He was a feature speaker at the 209 Venice Beach Gospel Rally in which over 400 persons came to know Christ as Savior and 100 were baptized the same day in the Pacific.

He recently completed "Doctrines of Demons," a fast paced Christian thriller of 98,000 words. When an exorcism becomes a phony rape charge, Pastor Lacey Carl is defrocked, loses his church his home and almost his sanity. Seeking answers, he and a pretty agnostic reporter journey through LA’s satanic community, uncovering an end time delusion of devilish dimensions. The fallen pastor fights fallen angels. At stake are the lives of a dozen homeless girls, his own daughter and, according to the Cult of Lam, the rise of the Antichrist.

The first chapter, a six minute video trailer and other information on "Doctrines of Demons," can be viewed at www.doctrinesofdemons.com

As a chaplain, he is heavily involved in trauma and crisis counseling as well as disaster prepardiness and recently returned from ministering in Haiti.
